Hi everyone! This is our newest addition to our Children's Ministry here at LCC! What do you think?
The idea is for the newest lessons for the next two months "7 Ways 2 Praise" that we can all learn together...just what our church here at LCC stands for. We are Loved to love. Mark 12:30 tells us we must love God with all of our soul-to worship Him. We want to learn how to worship accurately, authentically and absolutely, learning how His Word defines worship. Our lessons come from a Carman song with the same title and also a class on worship that our own Jared Adamson taught a while back. They, of course, got all their info from His Word...the Bible.
Along with all the info we will be learning in NP-3 I am hoping to add pictures, artwork of the kids, your Huddle assignments, family info, and much more to this site. If you have any suggestions, please feel free to email me.
I will add more as soon as I can, but for now...Welcome to LCC KIDS KORNER!
Last Sunday we learned the word TOWDAH. The sacrifice...Praising God in spite of the fact your world is not so great. Praise that pushes through the wall of all adversity, and offering that flows to heaven in our time of need.
This Sunday we learned about YADAH. The extended hand, to throw out the hand, therefore to worship with extended hand. To lift your hands in response to what the Lord has done throughtout the land. An out ward sign of what's inside for all the world to see, a demonstration of our love.
Your Huddle assignment is coming up...

Sunday's lesson...
Yep...here it is...things are a bit backwards, but what else is new???
I am hoping that all our FAMILIES OF LCC will help me make this a great blog for our kids...I need your participation tho...
First off, please ask your child what the lesson was for this week and what they think YADAH means.
We talked about God is always reaching for you, are you reaching for Him? When you worship, do you feel lifted up and closer to God.
YADAH is an act of your will. It means to open up, to raise your hands in power toward God, to embrace the Lord. So, here is the "BIG QUESTION!"
Can you find a scripture verse in the Bible that talks about lifting your hands? And, draw a picture of someone, maybe your family worshipping God.
